Pedro Pinto received a MSc degree in Communication Networks and Services from University of Porto and a joint PhD degree in Telecommunications from Universities of Minho, Aveiro and Porto. He has 10+ years of experience lecturing in telecommunications and computer networks areas, and currently, he is an Invited Assistant Professor at Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo and a Senior Researcher at INESC TEC research institute.

Luis Barreto received a Ph.D. in Electrotechnical Engineering from the Aveiro University, Portugal. He received a B.A. degree in Electrotechnical and Telecommunications Engineering from the Oporto University, Portugal, and the Master degree in networking systems and security by the same University. He is currently a Professor, Vice-President of the direction board of Business Science Superior School, Polytechnic University of Viana do Castelo. He is a researcher in the Aveiro Telecommunications Institute. He is also a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Wireless Communications (JoWC) and guest editor of the Journal of Network Protocols and Algorithms. He has published several scientific articles in international journals and conference proceedings. Also, he performed technical coordination functions in several companies, and he is a Cisco Certified Network Professional.
The scope of the workshop will be dedicated to the new approaches concerning wireless cloud technologies, experiments, modeling and theoretical approaches to cover all aspects from the fundamentals to the applications beyond. This workshop allows to share and discuss the current challenges that researchers and corporations are facing towards designing and implementing wireless cloud-based architectures and also providing services and applications on top of these networks.
