Professor Mohammad S. Obaidat (Fellow of IEEE and Fellow of SCS) is an internationally well-known academic/researcher/ scientist. He received his Ph.D. and M. S. degrees in Computer Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, USA. Dr. Obaidat is currently the Chair and Full Professor of Computer and Information Science at Fordham University, NY, USA. He has received extensive research funding and has published Forty Six (46) books and over Six Hundreds and Eighty (680) refereed technical articles in scholarly international journals an proceedings of international conferences, and currently working on three more books. Mohammad is the Editor-in-Chief of the Wiley International Journal of Communication Systems, the FTRA Journal of Convergence and the KSIP Journal of Information Processing. He is also an Editor of IEEE Wireless Communications. He is now an editor of the Wiley Security and Communication Networks Journal, Journal of Networks, International Journal of Information Technology, Communications and Convergence, IJITCC, Inderscience. Prof. Obaidat is an associate editor/ editorial board member of seven other refereed scholarly journals. He has guest edited numerous special issues of scholarly journals. Dr. Enrique Cabello received the B.S. in Physics (Electronics) from the University of Salamanca and the Ph.D. degree from the Polytechnical University of Madrid (both in Spain). He was awarded with the Extraordinary Prize as one of the best Ph.D. thesis. In 1990, he joined the University of Salamanca, where he was an Assistant Professor with the School of Sciences. From 1998 he is at the University Rey Juan Carlos (in Spain). Since 2001 he is the Coordinator of the FRAV research group. Dr. Christian CALLEGARI was born in La Spezia, Italy, in 1980. He received the B.E. and the M.E. degrees in telecommunications engineering and the PhD degree in information engineering from the University of Pisa, Pisa, Italy, in 2002, 2004, and 2008, respectively. He was recipient of a scholarship issued by the Italian Ministry of Education for his PhD program. Since 2005, he has been with the Department of Information Engineering at the University of Pisa. In 2006/07, he was a visiting student research collaborator at the Department of Computer Science at ENST Bretagne, France. D . Callegari is currently a post-doc research fellow and a teaching assistant at the University of Pisa for the Network Security course of the M.E. degree in telecommunications engineering and has given lectures about Anomaly Detection and statistical traffic classification in the framework of a PhD course organized twice by the Euro-NGI Network of Excellence funded by the European Community. His research interests are in the area of network security, statistical traffic classification, and network simulation. Panagiotis G. Sarigiannidis received the B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2001 and 2007, respectively. He is currently a Lecturer with the University of Western Macedonia, Kozani, Greece. He has published over 70 papers in international journals, conferences, and book chapters. His research interests include medium access protocols in optical networks, dynamic bandwidth allocation schemes in passive optical networks, scheduling policies in IEEE 802.16 wireless networks, wireless push systems design and optimization, quality of service provisioning in optical and wireless networks, trafic estimation and prediction via numerical analysis, and design of burst allocation for optical burst switching networks. ... Sebastiano Battiato received his degree in computer science (summa cum laude) in 1995 from University of Catania and his Ph.D. in computer science and applied mathematics from University of Naples in 1999. From 1999 to 2003 he was the leader of the “Imaging” team at STMicroelectronics in Catania. He joined the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Catania as assistant professor in 2004 and became associate professor in the same department in 2011. His research interests include image enhancement and processing, image coding, camera imaging technology and multimedia forensics. He has edited 6 books and co-authored more than 150 papers in international journals, conference proceedings and book chapters. He is a co-inventor of about 15 international patents, reviewer for several international journals, and he has been regularly a member of numerous international conference committees. Prof. Battiato has participated in many international and national research projects. Chair of several international events (IWCV2012, ECCV2012, VISAPP 2012-2013-2014, ICIAP 2011, ACM MiFor 2010-2011, SPIE EI Digital Photography 2011-2012-2013, etc.). He is an associate editor of the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and System for Video Technology and of the SPIE Journal of Electronic Imaging. Guest editor of the following special issues: "Emerging Methods for Color Image and Video Quality Enhancement" published on EURASIP Journal on Image and Video Processing (2010) and "Multimedia in Forensics, Security and Intelligence" published on IEEE Multimedia Magazine (2012). He is the recipient of the 2011 Best Associate Editor Award of the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology. Pascal Lorenz (lorenz@ieee.org) received his M.Sc. (1990) and Ph.D. (1994) from the University of Nancy, France. Between 1990 and 1995 he was a research engineer at WorldFIP Europe and at Alcatel-Alsthom. He is a professor at the University of Haute-Alsace, France, since 1995. His research interests include QoS, wireless networks and high-speed networks .He is the author/co-author of 3 books, 3 patents and 200 international publications in refereed journals and conferences.

He was Technical Editor of the IEEE Commun cations Magazine Editorial Board (2000-2006), Chair of Vertical Issues in Communication Systems Technical Committee Cluster (2008-2009), Chair of the Communications Systems Integration and Modeling Technical Committee (2003-2009) and Chair of the Communications Software Technical Committee (2008-2010). He has served as Co-Program Chair of IEEE WCNC'2012 and ICC'2004, tutorial chair of VTC'2013 Spring and WCNC'2010, track chair of PIMRC'2012, symposium Co-Chair at Globecom 2011-2007 and ICC 2010-2008. He has served as Co-Guest Editor for special issues of IEEE Communications Magazine, Networks Magazine, Wireless Communications Magazine, Telecommunications Systems and LNCS.

Dr. Aristeidis Tsitiridis was born in Athens, Greece. He received a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Leeds University (UK) in 2004, a MSc in Electronic Mobile Telecommunications from Glamorgan University (UK) in 2007, and a PhD in Biologically-Inspired Machine Vision from Cranfield University (UK) in 2012. He is currently working as a computer vision researcher for the university of King Juan Carlos in Madrid (Spain) and is active in innovative research that involves the use of general biologically-inspired computer vision algorithms, novel sensors, deep-learning te hniques, biometrics, pattern recognition, object/face detection and recognition.
